
iMSPORT.TV – Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo officially sent off the Indonesian National Boxing Team, which will undergo a training camp (TC) in Vietnam. The send-off ceremony took place at the Veranda Hotel in Pakubuwono, South Jakarta, on Sunday (September 7, 2025). These boxers are under the guidance of the Indonesian Boxing Association (PERBATI).
A total of 15 boxers, accompanied by four coaches, will be training in Vietnam. They will depart from Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten, on Monday (September 8, 2025). The training camp in Vietnam will last until September 21, 2025.
Menpora Dito’s presence not only represents government recognition but also a challenge for PB PERBATI in the first multi-event competition at the 33rd SEA Games, which will take place in Thailand, December 9-19, 2025.

“I would like to express my gratitude for Minister Dito’s willingness to send off and provide motivation to the Indonesian National Boxing Team, coached by PERBATI, which will undergo training camp in Vietnam as part of its preparations for the 2025 Thailand SEA Games. Minister Dito’s presence is a challenge that must be met by achieving success,” said Ray Zulham Farras Nugraha.
“We understand that the competition is fierce, considering that boxing is a mainstay for host Thailand. However, I’m sure Asri Udin and his teammates’ enthusiasm will be even more invigorated by the arrival of Minister of Youth and Sports Dito. Hopefully, we can achieve our target of one gold medal,” he continued.
