iMSPORT.TV – The Indonesian Gymnastics Federation closed the implementation of The 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2025 at Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, with great success. Chairman of Gimnastik Indonesia Ita Yuliati expressed his gratitude for the smooth running of the entire series of championships that took place safely, orderly, and received widespread appreciation from various parties.
“Thank God, the closure went smoothly and the whole activity was well organized. We can control the small obstacles that we can control. Many parties conveyed the compliment for the professional and passionate joint organizing, “said Ita Yuliati, on the sidelines of the closing event, Saturday (25/10).
According to Ita, this success is the result of the hard work of all elements, ranging from the government, especially the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Menpora Erick Thohir, DKI Jakarta, NOC Indonesia, KONI, INASPRO, Jakarta Artistic Gymnastics Organizing Committee (JAGOC) to volunteers (volunteers) who have contributed greatly to the success of this event.

According to Ita, Gimnastik Indonesia received a lot of praise from the delegation of participating countries related to the hospitality and service of JAGOC during the championship. “Comments from different countries are very positive. They praised Indonesia’s hospitality which was considered extraordinary. This is a pride in itself, because for the first time we have organized an event of this size and everything went successfully,” Ita said.
Indonesia’s success is hosting The 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships marks a new chapter in Indonesia’s gymnastics history. This proves that Indonesia is able to organize world-class sporting events with international standards.
“It’s not the end, but the beginning of a long journey to world achievement,” Ita said.

Not only a new historical record, the implementation of this world championship also bequeathed gymnastics equipment that will be used as a means of training Indonesian athletes. For information, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) provides six sets of equipment for the implementation of Jakarta Gymnastics 2025.
After the maintenance, the equipment was then added to Gimnastik Indonesia. Three sets, according to Ita Yuliati, will be placed in Cibubur Youth Elite Sport Center (CYESC), a new sports training center that is being built by the government in Cibubur, East Jakarta.
The rest are loaned to the Provincial Board (Pengprov) who are running a long-term training program towards the Olympics. This is to encourage the athletes to excel on the world stage, as the slogan of Jakarta Gymnastics 2025 is Move to Inspire or Move to Inspire.
“So it feels like with the end of this, we just stepped up to the next level, which is coaching. So I’m sure, even though each province doesn’t get a full set, but at least they have the spirit, have athletes, have new tools.”
