
iMSPORT.TV – Indonesia officially unveiled the mascot and jingle for the 53rd FIG World Gymnastics Championships Jakarta 2025 (Jakarta Gymnastics 2025) on Tuesday (September 9), coinciding with the celebration of the 42nd National Sports Day (Haornas).
The mascot “Nodi” and the jingle “Move to Inspire” for the 53rd FIG World Gymnastics Championships Jakarta 2025 were introduced through the official Instagram account @JakartaGymnastics2025, marking the beginning of one of the world’s most prestigious artistic gymnastics events to be held in Jakarta.
The mascot, Nodi, represents the richness of Indonesia’s natural heritage. Designed with a majestic appearance, Nodi symbolizes the harmony between strength and beauty mirroring artistic gymnastics, which blends power, flexibility, and aesthetic movement. Inspired by the Rafflesia flower, which blooms only on rare occasions, Nodi reflects the historic significance of this championship the first-ever Artistic Gymnastics World Championships to be hosted not only in Indonesia but also in Southeast Asia. Nodi embodies the spirit of Jakarta Gymnastics 2025, representing more than just a competition; it marks a new milestone for Indonesia on the global sports stage.
Meanwhile, the jingle “Move to Inspire”, created and performed by Denda, carries the philosophy of moving to inspire others. It aims to capture the energy, passion, and determination behind every athlete’s performance.
Chairwoman of the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation (PB Persani), Ita Yuliati, expressed that the introduction of Nodi and the official jingle was intended to give Jakarta Gymnastics 2025 a distinctive identity and inspire the broader community.
“We want the jingle ‘Move to Inspire’ to serve as a reminder that every gymnastics movement is not just about competition but also about inspiration. Together with Nodi, we present an identity that is rooted in Indonesian culture and close to the hearts of the people. We want the world to feel the positive energy of Jakarta,” said Ita Yuliati.

FIG President Morinari Watanabe also warmly welcomed the launch of the mascot and jingle, expressing his appreciation for Indonesia’s efforts. He expressed strong confidence in Indonesia’s ability to successfully host the event, which will take place at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, on October 19–25, 2025.
“The global gymnastics community is truly impressed with the preparations made by the organizing committee. Such meticulous preparation is rare and almost flawless compared to previous championships. I sincerely thank Mrs. Ita and her team for their hard work,” Watanabe stated.
“Let us showcase Indonesia to the world as a sporting nation,” he added.
So far, 501 athletes from 82 countries have registered for Jakarta Gymnastics 2025. The championship will feature participants from five continents, including top gymnastics powerhouses such as China, Japan, and the United States. However, the final list of athletes and participating countries will be announced by the end of September 2025, following the official verification process by FIG.
The Artistic Gymnastics World Championships will mark its first-ever edition in Southeast Asia (ASEAN) and the fourth time it has been hosted in Asia, following previous events in Japan, China, and Qatar.
