iMSPORT.TV – Two Indonesian gymnasts, Ameera Rahmajanni Hariadi and Alarice Malica Prakoso, are aiming to reach at least the finals of the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, which will be held from December 9th to 20th.
“We are continuing to train as hard as we can and work hard to achieve our best and deliver maximum results at the upcoming SEA Games,” said Ameera when met at the Jakarta Gymnastics Sports Hall in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The two are undergoing intensive training as part of their preparations for Southeast Asia’s largest sporting event.
The extensive training is part of the national training program to maintain stable movements and a competitive mentality. Ameera stated that her personal goal is to at least reach the finals and demonstrate the results of her hard work on the real stage.
“Yes, I want to at least make it to the finals and perform my best routine at the upcoming SEA Games. I want to show the results of my hard work over the years,” said the athlete who will be competing in the uneven bars event.

Meanwhile, Alarice Malica Prakoso is also targeting a similar achievement. She stated that her current training focus is on maintaining consistency in her specialty apparatuses, namely the balance beam and floor.
“My target is to at least make it to the finals, because I’m competing individually at the SEA Games and want to compete on my specialty apparatus. I really hope I can do my best,” she said.
The 17-year-old Alarice recently won a gold medal at the Pharaohs Cup International Tournament gymnastics competition in Cairo, Egypt, last September. The 2025 SEA Games in Thailand will be her first competition representing Indonesia at the biennial event.
Meanwhile, for Ameera, the 2025 Thailand SEA Games will be her second event after previously competing in the 2021 SEA Games held in 2022 in Vietnam.
