iMSPORT.TV – The Indonesia U-17 national team will kick off their campaign at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup by facing Zambia on November 4, 2025, at Aspire Zone Field 7, Doha, Qatar. The match is scheduled to kick off at 10:45 p.m. WIB.
The tournament will run from November 3 to 27, 2025, featuring 48 countries from six confederations, divided into 12 groups. Indonesia is one of nine representatives from Asia competing in this year’s edition.
Indonesia U-17 have been drawn into Group H, alongside Zambia, Brazil, and Honduras. The top two teams from each group will advance directly to the Round of 32, while third-placed teams will have a chance to qualify through a playoff round.

Indonesia U-17 World Cup 2025 Schedule: Must Win the Opening Match
Before heading to the World Cup, Nova Arianto’s squad played three friendly matches, recording a 1–2 loss to Paraguay, 0–0 draw with Ivory Coast, and 1–1 draw with Panama.
Nova expressed his gratitude for the valuable preparation opportunity, saying the friendlies were crucial to test the team’s readiness.
“They weren’t just quality opponents in terms of play, but also in physique and speed — exactly the kind of test we were looking for,” Nova said in a video statement shared by PSSI Media on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Securing victory in the opening match against Zambia will be crucial for Indonesia U-17 before taking on Brazil and Honduras in the following group matches.
