
iMSPORT.TV – Bahrain unveils mascot “Shahab” for 3rd Asian Youth Games. Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Executive Committee announced final preparations for the 3rd Asian Youth Games during a press conference at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia for the Games, confirmed Bahrain’s readiness to host over 6,000 athletes from 45 National Olympic Committees competing in 24 sports. Despite the tight timeframe, he praised the collective efforts that ensured timely progress.

Bahrain unveils mascot “Shahab” for 3rd Asian Youth Games
OCA Coordination Committee Chair Mr. Tayyab Ikram expressed confidence in Bahrain’s ability to stage an exceptional event. The committee also unveiled the official mascot, “Shahab,” along with “Najm” and “Dana,” as well as the Games’ medals and torch.
Competitions will be held across 23 venues and supported by more than 30 training facilities, welcoming athletes, coaches, officials, media, and medical staff from across Asia.
