iMSPORT.TV – Indonesia Dominates World Woodball Rankings 2025. Indonesia once again made history on the global sports stage. Following the conclusion of the Hong Kong International Open Championship 2025, which marked the end of the season, the official International Woodball Tour Ranking 2025 placed Indonesian athletes at the top of the world rankings both in the men’s and women’s divisions.

In the women’s category, Siti Masitihah (INA21142) delivered a stellar performance and closed the season ranked World No. 1 with a total of 386,100 points. Her compatriot, Finda Tri Setianingrum (INA21664), followed closely at World No. 2 with 272,350 points. The two have become symbols of a new era of dominance in women’s woodball, underscoring Indonesia’s strength in this category.

Equally impressive, in the men’s division, Ahris Sumariyanto (INA11219) finished the year as the World No. 1 with 341,950 points, while Susilo Marga Nugraha (INA11835) and I Putu Ari Kuncoro (INA12523) ranked 4th and 5th respectively.

With these achievements, Indonesia becomes the only nation to place multiple athletes in the world’s top five in both categories simultaneously an unprecedented milestone in the history of international woodball.

The Chairman of the Indonesia Woodball Association (PB IWbA), Aang Sunadji, expressed his highest Woodball Rankings 2025, appreciation to the entire team and athletes:

Throughout 2025, Indonesian athletes competed in eight prestigious international tournaments included in the 2025 Major Tour official point-earning events recognized by the Asian Woodball Federation (AWbF) and the International Woodball Federation (IWbF).

These tournaments included the Weng Lu Shou Cup 2025 (Taiwan), Malaysia International Woodball Championship 2025, AWbF University Woodball Championship 2025 – Malaysia, Singapore International Woodball Open 2025, 13th Asian Cup Woodball Championship 2025 (Indonesia), 7th AICE Indonesia Open 2025, Beach Woodball World Cup 2025 (Thailand), and finally the Hong Kong International Open 2025.

In each of these events, Indonesian athletes consistently finished among the top performers in both stroke play and fairway events. Their success reflects not only technical maturity and a champion’s mindset but also the unwavering support of PB IWbA, which continues to strengthen its programs in training, national competitions, and international participation.

PB IWbA emphasized that this success belongs not only to the athletes but also to the entire Indonesian woodball ecosystem including coaches, regional federations, the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), the Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia), and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora).
